Women of Hope Blog

On August 21^st, between 9am to 3pm, Women of Hope hosted a rummage sale at Central Assembly. Items such as clothes, books, toys, household items, small furniture and more, were graciously donated by the friends and families of Central Assembly. The items were categorized and laid out for sale. Thanks to Jesus, he was the muscles behind the scenes helping set up tables and displays. Nedia, June, Diane and Mai also helped organize the items for sale the night before the big day. On the day of the sale, Nedia, June, Diane, Crystal, Kayley and I (Valerie), helped to get those items sold. We all had a fun time meeting new people as they came through looking around.

With help from Steve, Hunter and Jesus, we were able to pack up the stuff we didn’t sell and clean up real quick. The yard sale was a success with the tons of items that were sold.

Thank you to all those who donated items to the yard sale. And a special thank you to those who participated in putting this yard sale together!
